Diabetic Foot Ulceration (Left Hallux Currette Debridement)

The video depicts the use of a curette for the debridement of a diabetic neuropathic foot ulceration of the left hallux. This video is in comparison to the same wound being debrided with the EZDebride Wound Instrument. Even with light debridement using the curette, the wound easily bleeds and requires more attention to hemostasis as a result. In comparison to the EZDebride Wound Instrument, there is minimal to no bleeding, adequate sharp debridement, less clean up and no hemostasis necessary.
