The video depicts the EZDebride Wound Instrument being utilized on a superficial skin abscess secondary to a foreign body granuloma status post week 2. The wound is much improved following prior sharp debridement with the EZDebride instrument. In this video, the EZDebride wound instrument is used to remove the superficial hyperkeratotic tissue as well as sharply debrided the wound centrally easily and effectively. Hemostasis as well as pain control was easily managed due to the EZDebride Instrument’s effective control depth debridement capababilities resulting in a bloody, but not a bleeding wound.
